Common failures of Air poppet valve:

Plastic products have large burrs. The burrs need to be analyzed in detail. In addition, if the concentricity of the core of the Air poppet valve is not well controlled, the pin may rotate slightly during the rapid opening and closing process, resulting in unevenness between the ejector surface and the surface of the Air poppet valve. Installation points: The precision of the Air poppet valve is relatively high, which requires that the Air poppet valve must pay attention to the following points during use:

Installation and precautions of Air poppet valve:

  1. Before installing the Air poppet valve, check the hole diameter of the installation hole, and the hole diameter tolerance is H7.
  2. Before installing the Air poppet valve, clean the iron filings and impurities in the vent hole of the mold.
  3. When installing, you need to use a bakelite hammer or a rubber wooden board on the front to gently knock the Air poppet valve in. It is recommended to use our special gaskets. When removing, the force acts on the gasket or the air poppet valve’s periphery. Do not directly knock the core of the Air poppet valve, as this will cause damage to the core.
  4. If the surface of the Air poppet valve needs to be processed after installation, the air poppet valve should be tested for air pressure after processing, and the air pressure value is 0.8Mpa.
  5. For multiple air poppet valves that need to be installed in one vent, the inner diameter of the main vent should be more than 2 times the diameter of the sub vent to ensure sufficient pressure, or a small air storage tank can be installed outside to ensure stable air pressure.
  6. After installing multiple Air poppet valves in the same vent, the air pressure should be checked one by one, and the air pressure value should not be less than 0.8Mpa.
  7. After the air pressure detection of a single Air poppet valve is completed, go through all the branch pores and fill in the air pressure to check whether all the Air poppet valves can be ejected normally. Only after all the Air poppet valves are qualified can the mold be closed for production.
